Payment through Paypal

When registering or logging in to the Paypal site, Paypal first verify that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL)* or higher. Paypal then automatically encrypt all sensitive information sent between your computer and their servers using SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available).

Once the information reaches Paypal, it is stored on the Paypal servers that are heavily guarded physically and electronically. Paypal employs electronic firewall to protect these servers and does not connect them directly to the internet which means your personal information is only accessible with the proper authorisations.

*Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a global standard security technology developed by Netscape in 1994. It creates an encrypted link between a web server and a web browser to ensure that all data transmitted remains private and secure.

Vins Boutique is a verified Paypal member

Verification increases the security of the PayPal network. Being a Verified member means that Vins Boutique have successfully completed PayPal's Verification system to establish their identity with Paypal. The Verification process varies by country or region. In most countries and regions where PayPal is available, a Verified member has added a credit card and completed the Expanded Use process.

When you send a payment, a reputation link is provided where you may view the recipient's status (Verified, Unverified).
